Dating is fun, falling in love is great, but every relationship brings up some of our ‘stuff’.
In the years that my marriage began deteriorating, one of my biggest problems was that I didn’t take time for self-care and did not prioritize loving myself.
I was buried in raising young kids, household responsibilities, keeping up my blog and website, trying to have a social life…
When I realized self love is the crux of everything and is the catalyst for every other relationship in our lives, something inside me changed.
Learning to love myself, was yes, incredibly important, but equally important was realizing that it did not mean loving every single thing about myself. “If I’m not perfect then I’m not worthy” was faulty thinking
A crucial thing to remember is…
The most important relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself 💜
Loving yourself also means forgiving yourself, and remembering that we are not supposed to be perfect.
We can’t be expected to make the best decisions in every single situation.
We are here to learn lessons.
That means personal development, personal growth and grounding ourselves.
When we are grounded, we are more likely to be at our best.
There are exercises that I take my clients through to cultivate self love.
I can help you do that too.
