Unless you’re living under a rock, or not on Facebook you’ve undoubtedly seen or participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. People of all ages are having fun with it but there is nothing fun about this terrible disease. The best thing about this challenge is that it has brought some awareness to a disease most know very little about. But how much are people really bothering to learn?
The challenge prompted me to learn more because I was one of those people who didn’t know much about ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease. I thought I’d do what the challenge was meant for, find out more and spread awareness. Did it challenge you to learn more?
