2 years in the blogosphere! It’s been quite a ride. Has it been a ton of hard work? Has it been incredibly time consuming and so frustrating that at times I wonder why the heck I keep at it? Hell yes. I could use a staff of 10. If you blog, you know what I’m talking about. But above all, it has been a rewarding life changing experience on which I thrive.
My very first blog post appeared the day after Oprah aired her final show. She spoke of a calling. She expressed to her audience that she wants all of us to live from the heart of ourselves… “you have to know what sparks the light in you, so, you in your own way can illuminate the world. We all have a platform, yours is wherever you are,” she told viewers.
This is my platform. I am passionate about learning and staying informed and sharing that knowledge. What I find most rewarding is when someone expresses that they found an article or post that I have written to be useful and informative. I’m also happy when they just think it’s fun.
I sincerely thank each and every one of my fabulous readers for taking the time out of your busy day to check out the latest on Savvy Suburban. I truly appreciate you and will strive to continue bringing you interesting, informative and fun topics.
